Juggling Juice Boxes and Business Deals With Nikki Garcia

Hey mama,

Let’s dive into a topic close to many of our hearts—balancing the demanding roles of motherhood and a career. We had the pleasure of chatting with the dynamic Nikki Garcia, WWE Hall of Famer, entrepreneur, and TV host, who opened up about the real challenges and joys of motherhood, and how she manages to keep her identity and career thriving alongside raising her son.

Nikki, known for her charismatic presence on television and her ventures in wine and podcasting, shared some candid insights that might just change the way you view your journey through motherhood.

The Real Deal on Becoming a Mom

Nikki didn't shy away from the hard truths. "The biggest challenge was definitely realizing that the career I knew for almost two decades as well as my body would never be the same. That was very tough to face. Oh, and the worry! It's a 24/7 thing—I’m like, is this how it will be for good?" she laughed, echoing the thoughts of many new moms who find the constant concern for their little one's well-being a daunting realization.

Balancing Act: Motherhood and Career

How does a reality TV star and entrepreneur manage motherhood and a bustling career? Nikki puts her son first, which means making tough choices about work opportunities. "If there is a job opportunity that doesn’t work with my son’s schedule, then it wasn’t meant to be," Nikki explains. This selective approach has not only helped her be a hands-on mom but also brought the right opportunities her way, allowing her to thrive both personally and professionally.

Finding Yourself in the Chaos

For Nikki, the journey back to herself took over three years. Her advice to other moms feeling lost? "Give yourself time, grace, and lots of self-love and care," she advises. Emphasizing the importance of acknowledging the enormity of bringing a new life into the world, she encourages moms to honor and love themselves. "You and your body did that. So honor and love that."

Cherishing the Moments

Nikki's best piece of received advice as a new mom was to savor every second. "It goes fast, so try and enjoy every second of it," she shares. When exhaustion sets in or the days seem too long, she reminds herself, "One day I will miss all of this—the cuddles, the kisses, the late nights staring at my son's face as he sleeps."

So, dear readers, whether you're juggling schedules or finding your footing in a new chapter of life, remember Nikki's words: balance is possible, and each phase is fleeting. Embrace it with all the grace and humor you can muster.

As Nikki shows us, being a mom doesn't mean putting your passions on hold—it means adapting and evolving along with the little lives we're raising. Here’s to finding our way, one step at a time.

Here for you,

We hope Nikki's story inspires you as much as it did us. Remember, it's not just about surviving—it's about thriving. (Ok some days it’s just about surviving and that’s totally ok!) Cheers to all the multitasking mamas out there making it work! 🥂
